A photographer and designer from West London. Inspired by the natural world, travel, and unique places.
Greek West-London based Photographer and artist.
M Dillon is an artist and designer who makes mixed media collage and sculpture that might appear superficially decorative or humorous, but there is a narrative beyond the decoration that aims to provoke a specific response of disquiet.
In every work I create, I put all I have inside. Every piece tells a story, and it is the result of a very specific feeling. All of them are unique pieces created in a time of internal burning. I find no sense in creating a piece without having a strong sickening need to do so. My pieces are made of fire.
An aim to constantly push and evolve,
To create art that is unique and original,
Fascinated by taking the artisan into the realms of the digital,
Most at home working on large scale pieces and murals.
Created and collaborated internationally,
Always looking forward to the next adventure.
There is usually meaning the work i produce...
But am happy for the viewer to derive their own conclusion,
Or even rate it purely on aesthetics
Drowning in to do lists
Terminal flux
Heavily influenced by; manga, anime, tattoos, graffiti, cartoons, comics, mythology, symbolism, technology
Am available for hire and custom creations
Stik started painting unofficial, socially conscious murals in his hometown of Hackney, East London in 2001. His simple stick figures wordlessly tell the story of his community and he frequently collaborates with hospitals, charities and homeless organisations. Working from his East London studio, these projects are largely self-funded and he now creates monumental artworks with communities across the world.
My name is Yorgos (U.SAID.IT), I am a Painter and a Street Artist.
My multi-cultural upbringing, dark materialism, gender inequalities, fear, and uncertainty in our world in crisis has inspired my work on human complexity. Rather than focusing on cognitive justifications and expressions, I follow human gestures, taking physical interactions as signs for meanings, emotions, and relations. The moral and emotional qualities of human beings are embodied and emerge through the movement of the body and its interaction with space. The bodies are naked, which enhances its distance from socially constructed views of class, distinction, beauty, and sexuality.
As an Eco-artivist, 'Rubbish artist,' and mosaicist, I pioneer sustainable art, creating works entirely from waste and with the minimum possible environmental impact.
Haunted by mankind’s imminent self-destruction, I believe in systemic re-thinking. Each tessera I create is a protest against our disposable lifestyle.
My commitment to sustainability encompasses every aspect of my life, from veganism to renewables, second-hand clothes, and not flying.
Formerly a City solicitor, I graduated with distinction from LSoM in 2019, where I also lectured Fabrication. Internationally, I exhibited in 100+ venues, was published in 90+ articles and textbooks, and won 20+ awards.
